Vintage Beatrix Potter receiving blanket

Vintage Beatrix Potter receiving blanket which is about 40" long by 30" wide (102 cm by 76 cm). It has a pattern border around the edges. My camera had a hard time picking up the exact colors, but I'd describe it as a light cream color. The front of the blanket has a smooth texture. The backside is very soft but has heavy pilling. Both the front and the border fabric have extremely light pilling in areas. The border fabric also has some thread snags, and a few hard creases. It is fraying along the inner edge of the border, and has some loose threads. The fabric bunches up along stitching some.
